February Glossybox Review

Hi everyone!

The theme for the February Glossybox was London Fashion Week and from what I can gather is full of products that are great for ‘on the go’.  These are all products you can put in your handbag / travel bag with a good range from hair care, skin care and makeup. I love the theme as I always want little bottles of product to take with me for weekend trips home and I really love the range of products I received too. So here’s everything I received:

Duwop Venom Gloss in Buttercup
This is a natural coloured gloss that adds a great shine to the lips. Due to the natural colour I think this would be great worn on its own or over lipstick to add a subtle gleam to the lips. It does contain a lip plumper and so it causes the lips to tingle for a little while after application, but for no more than about 20 mins.

Dr Bronner Magic Liquid Soap in Citrus Orange
This is a pure-castile soap made with pure organic oils. As you can tell by the name it has a citrus-y orange smell which is amazing and smells like citrus fruit and not the synthetic citrus smell that a lot of products like this tend to have. It’s an 18-in-1 all purpose soap so would be great for travelling and backpacking.

Paul Mitchell Round Trip Liquid Curl Definer
I use the Paul Mitchell Fast form and love the results it gives my hair so I am excited to see some more products from the Paul Mitchell brand. I have naturally wavy hair which, unless I style it, has a complete mind of its own. I’m excited to see how well this product tames my wavy hair.

BM Beauty Pure Mineral Eyeshadow in Platinum Tiara
I don’t have many loose powder eyeshadows as I’m afraid I’m going to tip them everywhere and just make a mess. However the colour of this is really pretty. I would describe it as a gun metal grey. It’s not terribly pigmented but it easily builds up to give a nice amount of colour.

Como Shambhala Invigorating Body Lotion
I love body lotion and so I’m always excited to get to try out new ones. This has a eucalyptus, geranium, lavender and peppermint essential oils and smells gorgeous. The scent might not be for everyone but I love it. Its blends easily into the skin and feels very hydrating.

So that’s everything I received in the February box. I think there is a great mix of products and I really like them all. Glossybox have just released the title of the mystery box, advertised in the February box. The March box will be in collaboration with Harrods and I’m super excited to see the contents of it. I hope it’s worth the hype!

What did you think of the February box?

Love

  1. I've been a bit disappointed with the whole glossy box thing tbh. I cancelled my subscription this month. I just decided its a lot of money for stuff I barely use (I've had a few gems, but mainly stuff I didn't like)

I did like the Venom gloss though, I've been wanting to use the venom stuff for a while.

    1. I've been a bit disappointed with some too but somehow I'm still hooked. I like the Venom lip gloss too, still getting used to the tingling though!

  2. I was disappointed again my GB and every month I vow to cancel and then they come up with the Harrods box which is obviously a ploy to make up for peoples disappointment but after that box I think I am going to try another beauty box. I like the idea of the boxes but then I get them an I'm like 'meh' when am I going to use this!

oh I'm Becky by the way (new follower) you left me your link on twitter @beckysMABBlogs :)
